 Remodeling the Lodge

Continued from page 2.

One of the new aspects of the Phase I remodel will be a new drape and oak valance on the wall behind the bench in the west.  This will give the west the same fabric backdrop that is in the east and more height and stature to the Senior Warden’s station.

Notice also, the brighter lighting in the ceiling fixtures, the new alter light shining only on the alter, and the new lighting in the east.  The lights in the east will not be as visible as they are in the photo when the second valance is installed in the east.

Vandalism to the Hall

We have been vandalized again.  Vandals

It will fairly closely match the size of the back of the Master’s bench but be in drapery with an oak valance.

The carpets have been selected by Tim Malahan, our interior designer.  The main floor will be Honey Beige with a dark blue pattern and the raised platforms and steps will be dark blue.

removed letters across the top of the building and pained gang symbols on the south, east, and west walls of the building.  We are waiting for good weather and volunteer help to paint out the vandalism.  We will probably just remove the letters on the top of the building on the east fascia because it will cost nearly $2000.00 to replace them.  If you like to paint we need painters to paint the vandalism out and to paint the lodge room.
