Our Building
By Steve Cronkhite

The photo above is from a
postcard showing the building circa 1905, when it was first built. Notice the main floor; it is all glass in
front. With the double doors, that are still there, on the right leading to
the stairway to the second floor.
There was a drug store on the left and a print shop on the right on
the main floor.
Also, you will notice
windows on the second floor running down the whole building. Those windows are still there but they
have been bricked up on the inside in the upper lodge room. The windows are there because originally
the upper lodge room was the same size as the lodge room now on the main
floor and the south side of the building housed a dining room and kitchen
on the second floor.

We begin the new year
with a busy month. On the first

Our degree director, Jim Moen, 33° always gets excited when we put
on this degree. Come join us in the
celebration of our most important degree, where we commit to wear the
symbol of this degree for the rest of our life.
On the fourth Wednesday
of the month (Jan. 24th) the Temple Board of Directors will
meet at the Hall in the Board Room at 6:30.
The Executive
Board of the Valley will also meet on that date at the Mt.
