Our Building
By Steve Cronkhite

In the last three issues
I have put an article about the building on the front page with the photo
above.
I joined Bellingham Bay
Lodge No.44 because it met in our building and joined the Valley of Bellingham
because it owned the building. Why
would a building have so much draw for me?
Life and living is never as simple as 1,2,3 so the answer to my
question is complex.
When I was in high school I was in an
Explorer Post of the Boy Scouts that wore blue blazers, maroon ties, white
shirts, and grey slacks and there were about 60 boys in Post 104. Among other things we held dances and
invited the Rainbow Girls and Jobes.
In turn, they invited us to their dances that were held after
installations.

A Time of Remembrance
By Steve Cronkhite
We are at that time of year
again when we remember those Brothers that have gone to that Lodge in the
sky not made with hands by extinguishing the lights.
Our new Wise Master Chuck
Anway, 32° has ordered a steak
dinner for the affair. Dress is Tux
and cocktail dresses (formals if you wish) and a sport coat is OK if your
tux has shrunk over the years.
You can e-mail you
reservation to Chuck at
Woof2804@yahoo.com or call him at
360-927-3317.
There will be a social
hour from 6PM to 7PM and dinner at 7PM.
Cost of the dinner is $30.00 per person.
