New Chairs

By Steve Cronkhite, Building Manager

The Scottish Rite Temple of Bellingham’s Board is beginning a program to replace our aging chairs in the dining room.  The existing chairs are showing their age and there is concern that they will fail injuring someone.  Several of the chairs are starting to show joint failure.

12 chairs have been ordered.  They are burgundy in color, have 3” thick foam seats, padded backs, and are stackable so that they store better.  These chairs have rugged steel frames and are fully upholstered.

We have never been very happy with our 5’ diameter tables, we wanted 6’ diameter tables that will comfortably seat 8.  We also have ordered a sample 6’ table.
