Golf Clubmakers Association Names
Higgerson South Dakota Clubmaker of the year.
Austin, TX, October 20, 2007 – Don Higgerson,
owner of Prairie Golf Shop in Big stone City, SD was recently named
2007-2008 South Dakota Clubmaker of the Year by the Golf Clubmakers
Association (GCA).
The GCA received hundreds of nominations from
around the world for the prestigious Award.
A panel consisting of several GCA officials and other golf club making
experts selected the winners from each state who exemplified the overall
best qualities of golf club repair, club fitting and community work.
Congratulations Don. I guess you found out something to do
when you are snowed-in in South Dakota.

Rite
Western Leadership Conference
Seattle
May 2nd & 3rd, 2008
The Orient of Washington has been
selected to host the 2008 Western Leadership Conference this May. These conferences are aimed at present
and future leaders of the Rite.
This year the conference will be held
at the Marriott Seattle Airport Hotel near Seattle-Tacoma International
Airport. They have arranged a group
rate of $119.00 per night double occupancy.

Conference registration fee is $200.00
and the ladies fee is $60.00 which includes a tour of the Pike Place
Market. Registration deadline is
